When Mercy Found Me

For most of us we have our own “when mercy found me” story, and if we do we can certainly identify with this great song by the Rhett Walker Band.
Living a life that serves only our needs, a life where we feel the need to be in control, a life where we are reckless in our actions, a life where we are unaffected by the outcomes of our poor decisions.
The brokenness which results from a life lived only for ourselves, apart from God, places us in the position for God’s mercy to redeem our lives for His Glory, if we surrender. This is the place where our weakness becomes strength and a foundation is built…built around a relationship with your Heavenly Father and His Son our Savior.

Here Is The Story Behind The Song
So when did mercy find you?
For me it was when I found myself in a nursing home alone and broken, physically, financially, and spiritually. I realized the circumstances put me in that place which led to the closing of my business, were the result of poor decisions I had made a part from God. It was in this place, a nursing home, I found a God of mercy and a God of grace, all of which led to me to seek a growing personal relationship with His Son and my Savior Jesus Christ!
